Estranged Husband Bit And Ate His Wife’s Nose For Not Picking His Calls

A Chinese woman’s estranged husband allegedly bit off her nose and ate it after she failed to pick up his calls at 2 AM, reports Daily Mail.

The woman, identified as Ms Yang, was on a night shift when her husband called. Next morning, the man came into her office and they got into a fight.

Ms Yang said her husband asked her:

“‘Why didn’t you pick up the phone when I rang you?’ And the next thing I knew, he pushed my head towards the wall and ate my nose in one go.”

Doctors have claimed that the damage to Ms Yang’s nose is so severe she will require extensive surgery. Almost her entire nose, including the nasal septum, soft triangle and nose tip, were eaten.

Surgeons believe it will be at least three months before her nose can be cosmetically reconstructed.

Ms Yang claims her husband — who had two grown-up children from his previous marriage — attempted to sell the couple’s child so she could care for his grandchildren. When she refused, the couple separated, although she claims he continued to ring her regularly.

Police authorities are reportedly attempting to track down her husband, who remains at large.
