Work in the stunt community is entirely by word of mouth and personal connections. So you need to know somebody to get a job. Even with that self monitoring there is always a risk. Often your life is put in the hands of somebody you may not even know. Trust me, when you hear a wave throwing a 20 ton piece of steel up in the air and slamming it down about 12 inches to your neck, you understand that’s not everyone’s cup of tea. And you’re a bigger man than that if your heart is not beating in terror while watching this as mine was. Without even getting the modest fame this couple just run their destiny with their own hands.
