Replying to Aam Admi Party leader and Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s RTI application, the Prime Minister Office (PMO) on March 17 disclosed that PM Modi’s various social media platforms have not cost the exchequer a single rupee since May 2014.
He not only has his own APP now but is also very active Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Google.
Further, even the official mobile app of the PM Office – “PMO India” cost nothing as it was designed by students in a contest that conducted by MyGov and online platform Google.
“There was no cost except the prize money in developing the App and even this prize money has been paid by Google.”
They though added that the Modi APP and the websites www.pmindia.gov.in and www.mygov.in are used by the people to connect and interact with the PM and according to the developer details on these platforms, these are developed and maintained by the BJP IT Cell.
