Human Resources Development (HRD) ministry has decided to set up 10 startups in higher educational institutes across the country to promote energy and zeal among young entrepreneurs.
HRD minister Smriti Zubin Irani said the government will also set up modern language labs in all states to promote different languages.
All India Radio News reported that she also launched New Model Degree Colleges in Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Odisha among other initiatives.
Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan, a centre sponsored scheme (CSS) launched in 2013, aims to strengthen infrastructure and ensuring quality education in states.
It provides strategic funding to eligible state higher educational institution
strategic funds for states besides giving impetus to governance, academic and administrative reforms.
