Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Jitendra Singh indianexpress
In August the Centre received a total of 1,00,903 grievances and of these 93,379 — or 93 per cent — were resolved, Singh said.
Singh said people are now showing faith in the redressal mechanism of the central government which is the main reason behind rise in the number of grievances received in the last two years.
Various departments working under the Centre have been asked to resolve public grievances within a maximum of two months time.
People can raise their complaints at Centralised Public Grievances Redress and Monitoring System (CPGRAMS) portal — aimed at providing the citizens with a platform for redressal of their grievances.
