To guide newly graduated students of 2017, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates on May 15 took to Twitter and sent out a series of Tweets advising them how to proceed in life.

A known philanthropist, Gates who in his life has given many speeches, doled out some really great career advice for the graduates and shared what he would have studied had he started his own career around this time.

Adding a bit of humor to his tweet, Gates also shared a clipping from the 1967 film, The Graduate, where lead actor Dustin Hoffman was given some similar but sagely advice by Mr McGuire.

In the end, he even revealed the name of the book he would have given to the students as a graduation present – Steven Pinker’s The Better Angels Of Our Nature…

…and explained his reason’s behind it.

While Gates admires the current generation and calls 2017 a great time to be alive, we can not even imagine how things would have been had he not be born at the time he did and done the work he has done since then.

Thankyou Mr. Gates 😀
