Captain MS Dhoni Kept Wickets For India Despite Being In Pain And Having Blurred Vision

India’s T20 victory over Zimbabwe on June 22 became a painful affair for Indian captain MS Dhoni, when he was forced to play despite feeling pain.

The June 22 match was crucial for India to secure the T20 series victory for India.

While doing wicket-keeping during the third T20 international match between India-Zimbabwe, Dhoni was hit in the eye by a bail.

The injury was painful and left Dhoni’s vision blurry. However, he continued to keep wickets and didn’t let others know how much pain he was in.

But after the match was over and India had secured the series victory, Dhoni took to Instagram to share his feeling and even posted one of his pictures saying: “Lucky only had to keep wkts with blurred vision and pain.”
