To show support to the Indian Army, people from different religions came together on September 20 and wrote letters in blood to PM Modi, demanding him to avenge those who were martyred in Uri Attack.
The letters were written by members of SBMS (Sarv Brahman Maha Sabha) who demanded strict action against Pakistan for what they had done.
The letters was written in blood belonging to people of different religion and communities (Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and Christian) to signify that people from all religions have same blood and want same thing.
Stressing on the importance of the letter, BK Sharma, SBMS spokesperson said:
“Strict action is required to check the massacre which is being perpetrated by Pakistan.”
On 18 September, heavily armed militants had attacked Army camp in Uri, killing 18 jawans and injuring 19 others.
