This is one of the biggest casualties of the elite COBRA unit which has been raised by the CRPF for undertaking special jungle warfare operations.
According to security agencies, the death toll is likely to rise as several security officials were also injured. Due to bad weather and heavy rains in the region, security forces were not able to provide adequate help to injured jawans for few hours.
