Bhagwant Mann Comes Drunk To Parliament, Says Fellow AAP MP

Aam Aadmi Party MP Harinder Singh Khalsa has accused Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann of coming drunk to the Lok Sabha.

Khalsa, who is the Fatehgarh Sahib MP, has also requested Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan to allow him to shift his seat as Mann comes drunk to the House.

“I am a Sikh and it hurts my religious sentiments when Bhagwant Mann sits tipsy next to me. I request you to change my seat,” Khalsa wrote to the Speaker.

In August 2015, the AAP, led by Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, placed Khalsa and his Patiala counterpart Dr Dharamvira Gandhi under suspension for holding a parallel rally in Amritsar.

Mann came under fire when he live-streamed a video of Parliament. Lawmakers from the government as well as the opposition get united to strongly condemn on his act and called for an action against what everyone called a massive security breach.

Politicians demanded Mann to be penalized for streaming on social media the video showing various layers of screening and checks.
