Bangalore has been facing problems after rains lashed the city and left several parts of it water-logged. The fire department is still trying to pump out water from the Salem Bridge underpass near Doddanekkundi.
A few areas that the BBMP control room declared as open for traffic are the Old Madras Road to Iblur Junction, parts of Bannerghatta Road and Bilekahalli.
Meanwhile residents are angry with local authorities as they say they face these problems every time there is a heavy spate of rain in the city. Wading through the dirty waters of the streets should not be the only option available to them, feel residents.
