You’d Not Believe These Celebrities Played Such A Small Role In Major Films

Not every actor in Bollywood has had it easy, sometimes not even the sons of well-known actors. Case in point is Shahid Kapoor, son of Pankaj Kapoor.

Did you know that before you saw Shahid Kapoor’s face grinning in that ‘Dil Maange More’ Pepsi commercial, he had appeared very briefly as a back-up dancer in ‘Taal’?

Yes he was there, going around Aishwarya Rai wrapping her in layers of silk saree.

Today, he is…well, you know who he is!

The same is the case with Anushka Sharma. She can be seen, if you are careful enough to spot her, in ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’.

Her face is visible on a poster as Sanjay Dutt’s character walks past it.

Zoya Akhtar was a backup dancer in Mira Nair’s 1996 film ‘Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love’.

The daughter of Javed Akhtar and sister of Farhan is, today, an accomplished director. Her latest release was ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’.

Aamir Khan’s wife, filmmaker Kiran Rao, can be spotted in the film ‘Dil Chahta Hai’.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui played a small-time crook in ‘Sarfarosh’ and was spotted in ‘Munnabhai MBBS’, too.

Today, he is the name you associate acting with.

Ayan Mukerji made a blink-and-you-miss appearance in a song sequence of SRK’s film, ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna’.

He was also spotted in a marriage sequence of his own film, ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’.

Choreographer Geeta Kapoor was a secondary background dancer in the song “Tujhe Yaad Na Meri Aayee” from the film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’.

Also seen in “Gori Gori” from ‘Main Hoon Na’.

Nikhil Advani was seen in this famous scene from the film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’.

He was an assistant director at the time.
