Ajay Devgn Reveals ‘Sons of Sardaar’ First Look, Gives Tribute to 21 Brave Sikhs

Ajay Devgn has done a romantic comedy ‘Son of Sardaar’ but ‘Sons of Sardaar: The Battle of Saragarhi’ is not at all its sequel.

About a year ago, Ajay Devgn asked for best wishes and revealed plans about this movie on Twitter.

He has finally revealed the first poster of the movie ‘Sons of Sardaar’ and it looks amazing! You can say it looks absolutely like a page from a graphic novel.

The movie is based on the 1897 Battle of Saragarhi, which was fought between 21 Sikh soldiers and as many as 10,000 Afghan invaders along the North West Frontier Province. All 21 died in the battle and posthumously received the Indian Order of Merit, which was British India’s equivalent of the Param Vir Chakra.

The posterized battle scene features the 36th Sikh Regiment, brandishing muskets and bloodied swords. Check out the tweet Ajay Devgn sent.

Ajay Devgn’s upcoming movie ‘Shivaay’ will be releasing this Diwali and seems as if he has already booked next Diwali for ‘Sons of Sardaar’.
