A Border Security Force (BSF) camp in Dantiwada in Banas Kantha District of Gujarat, got emotional when 85-year-old Vasumati Ben Okhalal Joshi met the 250 jawans.
She said not only her but each one of the countrymen are with them. Vasumati Ben also expressed her gratitude towards the security forces, who, silencing the adversaries, ensure peace in the country.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 30 celebrated Diwali with jawans of the Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Indian Army and Dogra Scouts in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. Showering his praise on the armed forces guarding the nation, Prime Minister Modi had dedicated this year’s Diwali to the jawans.
“Dedicate this Diwali to our soldiers. #Sandesh2Soldiers hashtag was used so much by everyone and we were flooded with well wishes and love for jawans from citizens. Be it BSF, CRPF etc, our jawans are on duty and guarding us; that is why we are celebrating Diwali joyfully,” said the Prime Minister.
