The excitedly awaited Auto Expo 2014 went off to a flying launch in Greater Noida on February 5th
and will showcase some brilliant auto engineering crafts till February 11th
. Ranked as the largest automotive show in Asia, the Auto Expo 2014 was jointly organized by ACMA, CII and SIAM. With countless exhibitioners booking their stalls in this year’s Auto Expo, the show is intended on two separate venues. February, whereas, The Auto Expo 2014 Component Show is scheduled from 6th
Feb at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. With leading automobile companies eyeing the emerging Indian market, expectations from this year’s Auto Expo are too high. With some of the top brand names like BMW, Nissan, Chevrolet, Audi and Toyota, the show also provides a global platform for the Indian entrepreneurs to measure up the large-scale market. Although, the show was restricted only for the media for the initial two days, we bring all details and minutes about the ongoing Auto Expo 2014.

The luxury car is available in Twin Power Turbo diesel as well as petrol variants, with variable sport steering and adaptive M suspension. The car has a max power of 135 kW/184 hp and can speed up to 226 km/hr. Competing with equals of Audi, Mercedes and Jaguar, Gran Tourismo will be range from 30.07 – 42.50 lakhs.
3. Mercedes M-Guard

2. Audi – A3 Sedan
Luring the first day of Auto Expo 2014, Audi pleased the market with the launch of much awaited A3 Sedan
. Designed a bit smaller than A4, the car is nearly 4.46 meter in length and equipped with latest safety features like ABS-EBS, ESP and airbags. The sedan will be launched in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol engine will be powered by a 1.8-litre TFSI unit and the diesel engine will have a 2.0-litre TDI mill. At the launch, Terence Johnson, the Vice president of oversea sales reviled the car to be the cheapest in its range and will be in the market by the mid 2014.
