A pro-ISIS group, Caliphate Cyber Army (CCA), has recently released a kill list which included name of 285 Indian nationals.
The list, which was released on Telegram (the terror outfit’s private channel), has names of people from UK, Canada, France and America. The data has been collated from open sources available online. The list also has addresses of 4681 people from across the world.
Along with the list, the terror outfit released an image, which said, “O wolves of the Islamic State, [this is a] very important list, kill them immediately.”
The list comes in the wake of recent Orlando attack wherein 49 people were killed in a gay club by a gunman Omar Mateen who stated his allegiance to the ISIS group. Last week, the UCC had released a similar target list with around 8000 names in it.
According to analysts, though the group is unskilled, the collective is gaining momentum and has the tools necessary to become a major threat to world governments in the near future.
However, Jihadi intelligence agencies have belittled the threat posed by the list.
India’s counter-terror organization is keeping a close watch on suspects to avoid any such attacks.
